Elaboration of an intermunicipal learning network for Ukrainian cities and municipalities

In order to strengthen the exchange of professional knowledge between Ukrainian experts from the eight cities of Lviv, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Podil District/Kyiv, Melitopol and Kharkiv in the field of integrated urban development, an inter-municipal learning network is being established within the framework of the GIZ project “Integrated Urban Development in Ukraine II”.

The network is implemented in cooperation with the Association of Ukrainian Cities and aims at deepening the participants technical and methodological knowledge and to promote good practices to other Ukrainian cities,

bgh. Gauly & Volgmann is commissioned to advise the development of learning modules for three thematic work groups of the inter-municipal learning network in cooperation with three project mentors from the Association of Ukrainian Cities. bgh. also accompanies the project in methodological questions concerning virtual formats.

Key support services are:

  • Elaboration of learning modules for the working groups in cooperation with mentors for each working group

  • Advising the Association of Ukrainian Cities on the establishment and implementation of municipal learning networks

  • Advising the project on possible virtual formats to pursue the promotion of best practices to other Ukrainian cities
