In 2013, the City of Leipzig published the brochure “Europe 2020 – Leipzig 2020. Concept for the Structural Funds Funding Period 2014-2020”. The concept was developed across city departments. It serves as the basis for negotiations between the city of Leipzig and the Saxon state government on the use of European structural funds – in particular the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the European Social Fund (ESF). The respective funding period started in 2014 and ends in 2020. Bürogemeinschaft Gauly & Volgmann (bgh.)was responsible for the design and layout of the concept.
