Between 30 October and 4 November, Bürogemeinschaft Gauly & Volgmann organised and accompanied a study tour for a high-ranking delegation of Peruvian ministries and national agencies.
At meetings and field visits with representatives from Berlin Senate Administration and the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building, the exchange on integrated approach to urban development was fostered. The delegation visited two priority areas of Berlin’s integrated development strategy, namely the New Centre for Tempelhof and the renovation of the area around Langhans Street. In both neighbourhoods, the principles of the New Leipzig Charter guide the development. Approaches to participation, cross-sectoral planning and multi-level cooperation were of special interest by the representative from sectors such as Housing, Environment, Energy, Transport, among others.
